Use
BXK▢----series explosion-proof limit
switch is suitable for the easily combustible and explosive
environment and the place of the explosion-proof grade
II B and the temperature class T4 to act as limiting instrumental
equipments, controlling the industrial automated process,
adjusting valve, computerized process, industrial elevator
and the posture of other equipments and transporting and
positioning of vertical mineral well. It is mainly suitable
for the combustible and explosive places in petrochemical,
mineral well, metallurgy, textile, oxygen-making equipment,
military industry, nuclear electric station etc. sections.
Compared to other controlling switches, this product features with
a high accuracy, stable performance, moisture an corrosion
resisting, high sensitivity and wide usability. It is
interchangeable with the one made in Yamatake company
of Japan.
This product has been appraised by the National Instrument
& Meter Explosion-Proof Safety Supervising & Inspecting
Station, Shenyang Machine Tool Electric Appliance Research
Institute etc. departments to conform GB3836.1-83, GB3836.2-83,
GB2900.35-83, GB4013.1-85 etc. standards for low-voltage
electric appliances, with the explosion-proof mark as
dIIBT4.
Configuration
Explosion-proof limit switch consists of explosion-proof
wiring box, explosion-proof micro-switch, contacting input
guide rod and rotating device and is divided into the
following types according to the structure of it:
1. Mono-input type 2. Direct-contacting type 3. V-forked
type 4. Telescopic type 5. Rod type
Upon the functions of it:
1. Sole-switch 2. Dual-switch 3. Completely opening and
closing various types by leftward and rightward rotating,
all are able to automatically reset.
This switch holds not only a good
explosion-proof property but also water-proof, pressing
and corrosion resisting etc. advantages.

1. The limit switch acts in an
angle about 9º and the driving rod can still go on
rotating by about 36º in case of surpassing the ravel,
i.e. after the contact is changed rotating.
2. The direct-contacting type limit switch has a working
travel about 7-10mm.
3. The casing’s corrosion-proof grade IP54.
4. Moisture-heat performance alternating test 55º.

Installation
Inside of
the limit switch there are screws, four with the single
switch, two are normal-open, two normal-close. Six with
the dual-switch, divided into two groups, three of each,
one of which and one of the rest two are normal-open or
normal-close.
Temperature
1. Ambient air pressure 80-110Kpa, ambient
temperature –20℃~ +60℃, maximum RH of air 90%.
2. The explosion grade of combustible
gas in the environment no more than category II B, the
self-combustible temperature no lower than class T4. Installed
in a place of dangerous gas of area I or II.
3. The maximum surface temperature
of the switch’s casing should be ≤130℃

of limit switch.
3. Connecting mode at the wire
outlet.
4. At order, make note on the
temperature at use for the temperature resisting type
switch.
5. Storage: place the limit switch
